More than just a race
The 2026 Cyclo-cross World Championships in Hulst will be much more than just top-level sport. From 30 January to 1 February, we will be putting together a vibrant entertainment programme around the races, turning the World Championships into a total experience for young and old alike.
There will be something to do all day long on and around the grounds: sporting challenges, surprising acts, atmosphere, music and unique moments that you can only experience here. So don’t just watch, but above all, experience.
More than music
During the 2026 Cyclo-cross World Championships, the venue will not only be dominated by sport, but also by an unforgettable party. With three large marquees filled with music, beats and energy, Hulst will be transformed into a festival full of cyclo-cross atmosphere for three days.
The line-up includes big names such as Omdat Het Kan, Average Rob, Outsiders, FeestDJRuud, Viktor, Bonzai All Stars, Pat B vs Dark E and many others. And that’s just the beginning: surprising total concepts such as the Kamping Kitsch Club, which will transform the marquee into an exuberant Kamping Kitsch Cross edition on Sunday, will complete the party.
Between races, and especially after them, there is always music, atmosphere and action. This is Hulst as a cyclo-cross festival: energy, beats, party and sport brought together in one place. Come and watch, dance along and experience the 2026 Cyclo-cross World Championships like never before!

More than entertainment
Beat the Pro
On Friday 30 January, we kick off the World Championship weekend with Beat The Pro, a spectacular side event combining excitement, spectacle and pure cyclo-cross energy.
On a short but fierce course with climbs, descents, sand and beams, Lars van der Haar and Sanne Cant will first set their target times… then it’s up to the 40 participants to try to beat them. With live time registration, fast action and an audience right on top of it, this promises to be an absolute crowd pleaser.
Hard at Heart Charity Cross
On Saturday, the World Championship grounds will be filled with warmth, energy and emotion during the Hard at Heart Charity Cross. This event is not just about speed, but above all about stories, meaning and creating something beautiful together.
And all for a good cause. Famous faces will team up with a “hero” – someone with a personal story, drive or mission – to compete against each other in a unique, heart-warming race. Expect surprising pairings, spontaneous moments, lots of humour and genuine competitiveness. On the course, we will see Leo Alkemade, Hugo de Jonge, Bavo Mortier, Erik Van Looy, Kurkdroog, MC Drummer, Anna Drijver, Benja Bruijning and Filemon in action, each with their hero, each with their own reason for being here. It will be fun, cheering, laughter… In short, an absolute mood maker during the World Cup weekend that you won’t want to miss.
In addition, all the duos are not only riding for the experience, but also for meaningful causes that are close to their hearts. Among others, KiKa, Duchenne Heroes, Klimmen tegen MS, Stop Schelden met KK, SchildklierNL, Simavi WaterAid, UNHCR and Digibende are being supported. This makes every lap, every effort and every finish line more than just sport.
